Triple Flower Helm (Parallel) Chainmaille Necklace

This necklace is made using the Helm/Parallel Chainmaille Weave weaved into 3 flowers. I used sterling silver wire for the 75-18 gauge jump rings. I then added the flowers to a sterling silver Long Curb Chain and used a sterling silver Figure 8 clasp to finish it off. Full length is 18 1/2". All my sterling silver jump rings are tumble polished for a beautiful shine and strength.

Necklace is for sale at my Etsy Shop:  Triple Flower Helm Maille Necklace

Helm/Parallel Chainmaille Bracelet-Custom Work

These Sterling Silver Bracelets were made using the helm (also known as parallel) chainmaille weave.  For womens bracelets I use smaller jump rings in 18 gauge sterling silver wire to make it more feminine.  This can also be made into necklaces and earrings.  The mens bracelets I use 16 gauge sterling silver wire to make larger rings and a figure 8 clasp.  These were custom ordered as a his and her gift set.  I unfortunately did not get pictures of them side by side to see the difference in sizes.

SOLD - Beaded Japanese Chainmaille Bracelet

I was pretty excited about this one.  I had just a few jump rings left over from previous projects so I made the Japanese 12-in-1 Chainmaille Diamond.  I didn't know what I wanted to do with it but after looking over my other supplies and trying different designs this is what I came up with.  Check it out at my Etsy Shop:  Beaded Japanese Chainmaille Bracelet

Japanese Chainmail Necklace with Jet Black Swarovski Crystals

This necklace ended up being one of my all time favorite projects.  The weave is a Japanese 12-in-2 weave.  The hardest part of the whole piece was wire wrapping the Swarovski crystal briolettes.  Wow, that was a challenge for someone who has never done it before.  But after breaking a few crystals and wasting some wire I got the hang of it and was very happy with how they all turned out.

S.S. Double Cross Necklace with Amethyst Swarovski Crystals

Posted by Picasa

I just finished this necklace today.  I had intended for these jump rings to be made into a bracelet but they ended up the wrong size.  I tried everything I could think of hoping they were not a total waste.  Then when I was going through all my old stuff and saw the earrings that match this necklace I thought I'd give it a try and it worked out which led to the birth of this necklace.  This necklace is for sale at my Etsy Shop.  Double Cross Necklace.
